Well we gave it our best shot at climbing in the mountains today but we’d barely tied onto our ropes in the Llanberis Pass before the first drops of rain fell. Hastily switching to the prearranged plan B we jumped back in the car and headed off for the permanently sun blessed Rhoscolyn. Lucy had headed back to work last night giving Tom the opportunity to stand in as deputy on her end of the rope for today. Along with Julia and to the accompaniment of shrieking oyster catchers and the occasional blast of the fog horn calling through the mist we climbed a quartet of lovely sea cliff climbs; Symphony Crack, Shite Hawk Alley, Truant and Baggers Crack.
