An slightly unfortunate change in the weather for Dylan and Gavin who have been on one of our Introduction to Rock Climbing Courses over the last two days. We were at the single pitch crag of Tremadog’s Upper Tier yesterday but not even the coastal lowlands escaped the day’s incessant rain. Gavin and myself might I suspect have given up and gone home early but Dylan’s enthusiasm to climb seemed in no way dampened by the rain. By the end of the day and in varying degrees of slipperiness he’d ticked off Central Staircase (V Diff), MTN (Sev), Falling Block Crack (Sev), Mistook (VS,4c) and Rammer’s Route (VS,5a).
In much drier conditions today we paid a visit to Milestone Buttress where Dylan was given his first taste of multi-pitch rock climbing where he floated up the grand old climbs of Pulpit Route (Diff), Rowan Route (Diff) and Direct Route (V Diff). Thanks both for a fun couple of days.
