For the final day of our week of scrambling here in Snowdonia we headed up Dolmen Ridge. We left the car undecided about the need for waterproofs as it had been steadily raining on the drive down the A5. Fortune favours the bold and the bald and sure enough it dried up nicely to the point that we enjoyed dry rock once more on the crux section of the route and beyond. The descent of Bristly Ridge rounded the day and the week off nicely – thanks to everyone who has been out to play with us, making the most of some cracking spring conditions.
