Rough weather again today and we tried to hide away from the gales round the back of Beinn Eighe. Scrambling on a route called Overlooking Rib on the quartzite slabs on the north eastern flank of Ruadh Stac Beag did by in large keep us out of the wind. Our route selection could do nothing to ease the rain though or to avoid the screaming wind which was racing over the summit of this near neighboring hill of Beinn Eighe. Things did dry up a little during the long walk down and there’s a certain amount of hope in the weather forecast for tomorrow.
