The Exterminating Angel (E3 5c, 5b) and Efnisien (E1 5b) - Cwm Pennant Cwm Pennant has to be one of my favourite Cwms in Snowdonia. It offers peace, solitude and some cracking climbing! It is a bit of a drive to get there but the winding narrow lanes and ever improving views more than compensate. The crag is slabby and needs to be dry, it is worth waiting for a dry spell of a few days as its a long way to go to find it wet! I climbed these two route in July 2009 with friend Andy and with Skye as an assistant to the belayer! My blog entry and photos are shown below. |
