"You gave as much to the shoot as any model would have. And also as you have come from an authentic angle…I believe it was more successful."
Debra Hurford Brown

I am comfortable working in front of camera

and have featured in a six part series for ITV called The Mountain in 2015.

MOUNTAIN PROMO from ITV Wales on Vimeo.

I have also appeared on the likes of Countryfile, The One Show, Caroline Quentins series on National Parks, Timberland (advertising shoot) and for local and national news features on Mountain Rescue, Search & Rescue Dogs, climbing and mountaineering in Snowdonia. For an example of my presenting please visit the BMC TV channel where I presented a series of 5 small videos on mountaineering:

Photography/Modelling

If your advert or shoot involves a climber, mountaineer, mountain rescue team member, explorer, adventurer, or alpinist why pay a model when you can have the real thing? I have experience of working in front of stills cameras in a studio environment as well as out in the mountains.

I regularly appear in national magazines and make a monthly contribution to Trail Magazine, the biggest hillwalking magazine in the UK.

Stock Photographs
I have a huge database of mountain photography from all over the world and regularly have work printed in books and magazines including several front covers.

Testimonials

Rob, thank you for your professionalism and absolute grace with repeat takes of climbing, clambering and hiking for the film we shot with you. Without a doubt the final product would in no way have been as good without your guidance, location sourcing and expertise. Thanks for keeping us safe. As a film production company we’d have no hesitation in recommending you for any similar ventures. All the best, Gary Wales, Producer, DirectionGroup

Hi Rob,
I think you’ll have to have a career change as you were a natural!
The day was good fun and we got the results Sean was hoping for.
Thank you for being such a good sport during the day… it can be tiring being in front of those lights.
You gave as much to the shoot as any model would have. And also as you have come from an authentic angle…
I believe it was more successful.

I will follow your expeditions on line and look forward to catching you on TV in 'The Mountain’ and of course in the Fujitsu campaign too!

Take care

Debra

Hi Rob, Huge thanks to you, I thought Friday went excellently.

I really thought you captured the expressions and ‘look’ that we were after brilliantly … as well as providing valuable input into how the make-up should look based on your ‘real life’ experiences.

Hopefully it will all be a success for the client … who knows, maybe in 6 months we’ll need to extend the campaign and do a new set of shots … but this time on location somewhere in the world, depending on where you advise! ;-)
