The Sandstone Towers of Utah

I went on a climbing road trip to the States in 2005. Six of us hired a 32 foot motorhome from Denver and then drove across Colorado. Along the way we spent a week ice climbing in the Rockies including a few days in Ouray for the ice climbing festival where we were invited to stay at Jim Donini's house. Thsi worked out well as we each went down with some sort of man flu and were grateful of a warm and comfortable bed!

After Colorado we drove down into the desert, though Utah and Nevada and then onto Las Vegas. We climbed several sandstone towers including the legendary Castelton Tower. We also climbed in Monument Valley, the Arches National Park and at Red Rocks in Vegas. It was an awesome trip and I hope you like the photos.
