The following article was published in the March 2009 edition of Trail Magazine. I took writer Nicki Giles for a day out on the Clogwyn Y Person Arete which is one of my favourite grade 2/3 scrambles in Snowdonia. Nickis brief was to write an article on Alpine mountaineering in the UK. She had visions of blue skies, warm rock and knife edge ridges. We found the knife edge ridge!
