Intro to Climbing - Course description

Location: Snowdonia
Price: £130 per person
Ratio: 1:4

Who is the course suitable for?
This course is designed for people who would like to learn the skills involved in going rock climbing outside for the first time. You do not need any previous experience but if you have climbed indoors then we will be able to cover more skills during the two days.

What does the course cover?
- The art of belaying - from above and below
- Two full days rock climbing
- Setting up top and bottom rope systems
- Equipment selection - all specialist equipment is provided
- Climbing movement coaching
- Crag safety
- Guidebook interpretation

Where is the course held?
We run the course in Snowdonia and use a variety of single pitch crags dependant upon weather at the time. Snowdonia offers every type of climbing from roadside crags to long mountain routes and has its sheltered venues suitable for rock climbing through the winter months (the North Wales coastline being particularly good).

What about accommodation?
