I established expeditionguide.com in 2002, at that time providing navigation courses, hill walking trips and rock climbing courses. Over the years the programme of courses has grown to suit demand but the same core values apply, I still run nearly all of the courses myself and with the aim of helping people to become self sufficient in the mountains. We are based in Snowdonia and our contact details are at the foot of this page. Snowdonia really has got the lot, rugged mountains that are easily accessable from the road, roadside cragging, sea views, rolling hill side, waterfalls, gorges, sea cliffs and even some snow in the winter! We are not a big company, when you call it will be either my wife Kate or I that answers the phone and each time you are out on the mountains you will be with me. This means that you benefit from better skill progression because I know where you got to last time.
