The coastline of Pembrokeshire is stunning and offers a wealth of climbing on steep, dramatic sea cliffs. It also provides a home for many important sea birds and mammals and a whole host of beautiful wild flowers. The region is a National Park and enjoys a fantastic diversity of scenery. We tend to camp in the small village of Bosherston, a quiet village with a good local pub and the legendary Olde Worlde Cafe run by Ma Weston. If you like the hustle and bustle then you won't like Bosherston, its a place to chill out, relax and enjoy life at a slower pace. Only a mile away are beautiful sandy beaches where we will often head at the end of a day for a safe swim in the sheltered bay. This course is only suitable for people with previous experience of seconding VS and abseiling. We can scramble down to some of the routes but others are only accessible by abseil. This presents a problem if you can't climb out! On the South coast the cliffs are limestone, steep and good quality rock in the whole providing exposed climbs which are often full rope length pitches. The North Coast gives quieter cliffs of dolerite and gabbro. The aim of this 2 day course is to get as much mileage as possible. We
will climb Severe to HVS Climbs and can provide feedback on building belays,
rope management, stance management and movement skills. The main emphasis is
on having a nice time! Previous Experience
