Last winter I had a knee injury that prevented me from getting any ski touring done in the Alps and boy did I miss it! The injury got worse over the summer and only really started to heal last autumn. I didn’t dare book a ski trip this winter, I had to put the emphasis on working and hoping the knee would cope with that OK and no more. Anyway it’s got stronger all winter and so I managed to arrange a 4 day Chamonix hit with my good friend Bryn, and here we are. Ski touring. In the sunshine. It’s bloody ace!

Yesterday we skied the Valley Blanche, probably the best off piste ski descent in the world. Today we skied the Col De Beugeant on the Aiguilles Rouges. Here’s a couple of snaps and I will add more when I get home on Thursday.
