Having got back from the Alps at the weekend I was pretty pleased to find snow on the mountains and a good weather day in the forecast. Huw was also free so after a brew at the Siabod Cafe we headed out together to enjoy a stunning day on the Bochclwyd Horseshoe. Starting at the A5 the route heads up the North Ridge of Tryfan, down the South Ridge, up Bristly Ridge onto Glyder Fach, over Castell Y Gwynt and then down the Gribin Ridge. We enjoyed some lovely firm snow, stunning views and of course plenty of giggles. So cool to be able to have days like this from home.
