By design Shae, Oli and me have had a much easier day today. Taking the lead from others we headed across to the Cairngorms where it was a world away from the deep snow of the West Coast right now. The wind scoured ridges and plateau where easy to travel and the snow was firm to walk on and good for climbing. We milked Fiacaill Ridge for all it was worth taking the blocky crest and the steeper sections as directly as we could. A lovely route to travel and so much easier than yesterday.
